World Record Attempt Event

Ever wanted to be a record breaker? Now’s your chance, we need you to help Bletchley Park break a World Record.

On Saturday 23 June we will host the World’s Largest Swing Dance Lesson. The event will take place from 17:30-22:00 with the world record attempt lasting approximately 45 minutes. Professional swing dance group, JiveSwing will be available throughout the evening, helping you to develop your moves and prepare for the lesson ahead. Live music during the evening will be provided by The Jive Aces & The John Petters Swing Band.

Howe & co. Fish and Chips, Bandit Street Food, Gin Nook, Belistore and The Rum Runner cocktail bar will all be present at the event for you to be able to purchase refreshments and food.

An official representative from Guinness World Records will be onsite to judge the attempt. At the end of the lesson all participants will complete a 3 minute dance with a partner. All participants taking part must be over the age of 10. Friends and family are also welcome to come along and enjoy the evening without having to take part in the lesson.

This is a free event but all attendees will need to book here for entry.

This is an outdoor event so please make sure you bring sensible footwear as the event will run in all weather.
