Do you have an avid reader or a budding author in the family? Have you ever wanted to know how books are written? Join us for a workshop with children’s author Paul Morris based on his book ‘Time Traveller Danny and the Codebreaker’.
In this exciting story, young agent Danny travels back in time to Bletchley Park on a crucial day during World War Two, meeting codebreakers Alan Turing and Dilly Knox and a variety of other real-life characters.
Participants can choose to book either 10.00-12.30 or 14.00-16.30. Particularly aimed at 8-12 year olds accompanied by adults, a session lasts 2.5 hours and includes a talk by the author, an opportunity to ask questions and a creative writing workshop. The workshop will focus on the life and legacy of Alan Turing including his war work and the challenges facing him.
Ever wanted to see your work in print? Following the workshop your writing may be chosen to be published as part of a new hardback edition of the book!
Paul Morris will be available for book signing from 13.30 to 14.00 in the Bletchley Park shop.
