Terms and Conditions of the Online Ticket site

Please read these terms and conditions of sale carefully before placing an order for any products. You are advised to print and retain them for your records.

The website, www.bletchleypark.org.uk, is operated by Bletchley Park Trust Limited and Bletchley Park Company Limited. Bletchley Park Trust Limited is a registered company incorporated in England as a private company limited by shares under the Companies Act (company number 2730618), being a charity (registered charity number 1012743), registered office address: The Mansion, Bletchley Park, Sherwood Drive, Bletchley, Milton Keynes, MK3 6EB.

Bletchley Park Company Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bletchley Park Trust Limited and performs the museum's trading activities. It is a private company limited by shares incorporated in England under the Companies Act (Company number 2723470). All profits of the trading company are transferred to Bletchley Park Trust Limited, being a charity, under a gift aid declaration.

By offering to purchase products through the www.bletchleypark.org.uk website you are entering into an agreement with Bletchley Park Trust Limited on the terms and conditions set out below.

These terms and conditions of sale are additional to and not a substitute for the general terms and conditions of use of the website that can be found here.

Please read our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms and conditions and covers personal information provided by you, security and use of cookies.

By placing an order with us, you warrant that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts and are at least 18 years old.

E-tickets purchase terms and conditions

You are able to make an advance purchase of a ticket to visit Bletchley Park via the the online ticketing site. After placing your order with us you will be sent an email acknowledging your order. This will be our contract with you. You must print off and present this confirmation, or alternatively display on a smartphone, in Admissions on arrival at Bletchley Park.

Please ensure you have checked the website www.bletchleypark.org.uk before your visit to confirm the museum is open and you are aware of any closures to all or part of the museum.

We reserve the right to close the museum at short notice if we believe there is a risk to the health and safety of visitors, or due to any events, acts or accidents beyond our reasonable control and, under these circumstances, we shall have no liability to you.  If you have pre-booked for a day that is subsequently closed, you will be given the opportunity to reschedule your visit. Where a rescheduling is not possible, a refund of your purchase will be made.

You must visit on the date you selected when buying your e-tickets, otherwise your e-ticket becomes invalid. Tickets cannot be refunded if you do not attend Bletchley Park on your selected date.  You can alter the date of your visit up to 2 days before the date of your visit, subject to availability, by contacting our Bookings Team by email on [email protected] or by calling 01908 272673 Monday to Friday.  Please have your email confirmation to hand.

If you do not alter the date of your visit 2 or more days ahead of your selected date, and do not visit on the date specified, your e-ticket becomes invalid and you will not be able to visit on a different date.

On arrival at Admissions, please select the Pre-Booked lane and a member of our team will scan your email confirmation, issue each member in your party an Annual Season Ticket, any pre-booked items (e.g. Guidebooks) and welcome your party to Bletchley Park. the season ticket you will be issued will entitle you and the members of your party to return to Bletchley Park for the next 12 months from the date of your first visit. Please see below for further terms and conditions of the Annual Season Ticket.

Pre-booked entry to Bletchley Park does not guarantee onsite car parking.  There is limited onsite car parking available on a first-come first-served basis.  

We cannot refund tickets for reasons of adverse weather conditions (unless we close the Park at short notice).

E-tickets purchased cannot be used in conjunction with any voucher, promotion, special offer or inclusive travel package. Promotional vouchers can only be used when purchasing a ticket at the ticket office on the day of your visit.

Online bookings are currently for a maximum of 11  visitors per transaction. Groups of 12 or more are unable to book via our website. Special rates are available for Groups of 12 or more visitors. All Group enquiries must contact [email protected] or call 01908 272673 Monday to Friday

Event tickets terms and conditions (including afternoon tea)

You are able to purchase tickets for one of our events via our online ticket site.

After placing your order with us you will be sent an email acknowledging your order. This will be our contract with you.

You will need to bring this e-ticket confirmation on the day of the event, to facilitate your registration at the event. Entry to all events will be via Admissions where you will be given further directional instructions.

Friends of Bletchley Park must show their friends card with their e-ticket confirmation.

Season ticket holders must show their season ticket, proof of ID and e-ticket confirmation, failure to do so will mean you have to purchase an admission ticket on the day of the event.

Pre-booked entry to Bletchley Park does not guarantee onsite car parking.  There is limited onsite car parking available on a first-come first-served basis.

All prices displayed on the website are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rates. All prices are correct at the time of entering information onto the system and must be paid in full.

Tickets cannot be cancelled and are non-refundable except in the case of a cancelled performance.

At talks and lectures, use of photographic or sound recording is forbidden. For the comfort of all our guests please ensure that mobile phones are switched off. Latecomers may not be admitted until a suitable break in the event.

At any event where catering is provided, it is the responsibility of the ticket buyer to inform Bletchley Park Trust of any dietary requirements prior to the event. This is to be done via the Bletchley Park reception at [email protected] or 01908 640404.

Bletchley Park Trust reserves the right to make changes to the advertised event and programme without prior notice. Management reserves the right to refuse entry if for any reason they deem there is a risk to the facilities, the public, event organisers or the staff on site.

Management reserves the right to cancel an event at short notice if it believes there is a risk to the health and safety of attendees, or due to any events, acts or accidents beyond our reasonable control, and under these circumstances we shall have no liability to you other than for the refund of the ticket purchased.

Product information

The specifications of the Products on the website are intended to only give a general description of the Products. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our Products. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee that your monitor's display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the Product on delivery. All sizes and measurements are approximate.

Any advice or recommendation given on this web site or otherwise given by us or any of our employees or agents to you as to the storage, application or use of the Products is followed or acted upon entirely at your own risk, and accordingly we shall not be liable for any such advice or recommendation.

Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission on any page of this web site or in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document or information issued by us shall be subject to correction without any liability on our part.

How to make a purchase

The "Book tickets" tab at the top of the website will take you to our online ticketing site. Once you have selected your tickets, you will be able to browse dates available.

When you order items online for the first time, you will need to enter your details to complete your order. These details will be recorded on our Ticketing System and you will be able to retrieve your details by entering your surname and email when returning to our site, to enable you to check-out faster on subsequent visits to the online ticketing site.

If you wish to be kept in touch with news from Bletchley Park by email then please check the box under "Mailing List". If you choose to request email updates, you will subsequently be able to unsubscribe by using the link in the emails we send you.

Please ensure the details you provide us with on registration are correct and complete. You must also inform us promptly of any changes to those details.

Basis of sale

When you click on the "Place Order" button on the website we will treat the order as an offer by you to purchase the Products (e-tickets or Merchandise) tickets from us subject to these terms and conditions. After placing an order for Products (e-tickets or Merchandise), you will receive a confirmation email from us acknowledging receipt of your order.

You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the terms of any order and you undertake that all the details you provide to us for the purpose of ordering Products from us are true and correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the Products ordered.

Prices

All prices displayed on the website are quoted in UK Pounds Sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rates where appropriate. All prices for entrance to the Bletchley Park are exempt from VAT.

All prices are correct at the time of entering information onto the system and must be paid in full.

Terms of payment

You can pay for Products using the following debit or credit cards:

  • International Maestro

All cardholders may be subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your Payment Card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

If you are unable to complete a booking online, please contact us by email at [email protected] or call 01908 272673 Monday to Friday and we will contact you to discuss this further.

Upon providing us with details of the Payment Card and submitting your order you:

  • confirm and undertake that the information contained within the order is true and accurate

  • authorise us to deduct from the Payment Card account the full price of products and all other payments which may become due to us under the Contract

Payment for the Products and all applicable delivery charges is in advance.

The deduction of monies from your Payment Card does not mean that we have accepted your order nor does it mean that a contract has been formed between us. In the event that we reject your order we will credit your Payment Card with the amount deducted.

Where Goods are returned by you in accordance with your cancellation rights (below), we shall credit the Payment Card with the appropriate amount.

We will take all reasonable care to keep all information connected with your order secure but we cannot be held liable for any loss that you may suffer if a third party obtains unauthorised access to any data, including credit and account details you provide when accessing or ordering from this Web Site, unless this is solely due to our negligence

Cancellation rights

Bletchley Park Trust operates a policy of no refunds for tickets booked online.

You must visit on the date you selected when buying your e-tickets, otherwise your e-ticket becomes invalid. Tickets cannot be refunded if you do not attend Bletchley Park on your selected date.  You can alter the date of your visit up to 2 days before the date of your visit, subject to availability, by contacting our Bookings Team by email on [email protected] or by calling 01908 272673 Monday to Friday.  Please have your email confirmation to hand.

If you do not alter the date of your visit 2 or more days ahead of your selected date, and do not visit on the date specified, your e-ticket becomes invalid and you will not be able to visit on a different date.

If Bletchley Park is closed on short notice, holders of e-tickets for that day will be given the opportunity to reschedule their visit. Where a rescheduling is not possible, a refund of the tickets will be issued.  Refunds will not be made for reasons of adverse weather conditions (unless the Park is closed).

Communications

If we have to contact you or give notice in writing, we will do so by email or by pre-paid post to the addresses you provide to us in your order.

Any communication sent electronically by e-mail or otherwise will be deemed to have been received by the intended recipient 24 hours after it has been sent.

Any communication sent by post will be deemed received by the intended recipient three days following mailing where sent by first class post or five days after mailing where sent by second class post.

Changes to the terms and conditions of sale

Our terms and conditions of sale may be changed. Please review them regularly. If you continue to use the website after a change has been made you are deemed to have accepted it.

Law and jurisdiction

These terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. If any of these terms or conditions of sale should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise enforceable, it shall be deemed deleted and the remaining terms and conditions shall survive and continue to be binding and enforceable.

Terms and conditions of entry

•          Adults must accompany all children under the age of 16.

•          We reserve the right to close the museum at short notice if we believe there is a risk to the health and safety of visitors, or due to any events, acts or accidents beyond our reasonable control.

•          We reserve the right to refuse entry if for any reason we deem there is a risk to the museum, the public or the staff on site.

•          Visitors displaying anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave and could be subject to prosecution.

•          Dogs are not permitted onto the site, with the exception of guide dogs, hearing dogs and support dogs. We also do not allow visitors to leave dogs unattended in vehicles.

Annual Season Ticket Terms and Conditions

  • Annual Season Tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of the first visit to Bletchley Park, once issued by Bletchley Park during initial visit, and may only be used by the named visitor

  • To validate an Annual Season Ticket each entrance ticket must be presented on arrival and scanned in at Admissions. Your annual season ticket is valid from date of first scan.  

  • Annual Season Tickets holders returning to Bletchley Park must enter the museum via Admissions, present their Annual Season Ticket and produce an additional form of ID demonstrating name and signature.

  • Children under the age of 12 go free, when accompanied by a paying adult, and will not be issued an Annual Season Ticket (some exceptions to this when children come in an organised group visit).

  • Carers accompanying disabled visitors can access the site for free and will not be issued an Annual Season Ticket.

  • Those in possession of a complimentary ticket will not be issued an Annual Season Ticket.

  • When a Family ticket is purchased, entrance tickets will be issued to 2 adults and up to 2 children aged 12 to 17.

  • There may be occasions where the museum, some exhibitions or some parts of the museum will not be open to Annual Season Ticket holders. Please ensure you have checked the website before your visit to confirm the museum is open to Annual Season Ticket holders, and you are aware of any closures to all or part of the museum.

  • Annual Season Tickets exclude admission to events where the museum exhibitions are not open, for example lecture nights. Please see our website for a list of such events.

  • Bletchley Park Trust reserves the right to close the museum to Annual Season Ticket holders on up to 10 days per year.

  • Annual Season Tickets are not transferrable and may not be exchanged or refunded.

  • Annual Season Tickets will not be replaced if lost.
