Oliver Brookshaw went to Uppingham School before going on to read Greats (Classics) at Oriel College, Oxford. From there he went to Guildford College of Law to do the requisite Law Society examinations before going to Linklaters & Paines (as it then was – now just Linklaters) in the City for his two years articles (now training contract). On qualification in October 1983, Oliver joined Linklaters’ corporate department where he stayed until 1989 when he moved to Shoosmiths.
Oliver became a partner with Shoosmiths in 1991 and has worked in its Northampton, Nottingham and (currently) Milton Keynes offices. He is national head of the Corporate and Commercial Department for Shoosmiths and personally specialises in UK corporate and corporate finance work.
