Bletchley Park is a vibrant heritage attraction, open daily to visitors. We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Technician (three days a week) to provide support to our Site Works team.
Once the top-secret home to World War Two Codebreakers, our Mission is to preserve and enhance Bletchley Park, to attract, engage and educate visitors from all over the world through the continuing restoration and development of the entire estate and our exhibitions. We are seeking enthusiastic team players, with a passion for amazing customer service and a strong sense of professionalism.
Working as part of our Site Works Team your areas of responsibility will include repairing and conserving our estate and buildings with due regard to the historical integrity of the site, keeping abreast of and observing Health & Safety legislation and ensuring that the agreed safety procedures are carried out to maintain a safe environment for all.
Being adaptable the candidate will carry out a broad range of maintenance work to support the site works team in keeping the estate and buildings in great condition without detriment to the visitor experience. The candidate will have experience of plumbing, having worked with copper, steel and solvent weld plastic in the past. Carpentry experience will include work with ironmongery. Other works that will require regular attention would include tiling and basic electrical skills.
