Opportunity to own Bletchley Park Golden Egg and Help Save Turing's PapersReleased : Nov 20, 2010 To support the independent fundraising campaign to bring a unique collection of Turing's Papers to Bletchley Park, the Bletchley Park Trust will contribute all proceeds of the remaining Limited Edition Creations by Sarah Fabergé.
![]() Bletchley Park Trust has again commissioned the St Petersburg Collection to produce a second special edition of fifty Eggs from the internationally renowned Fabergé family, to commemorate the work of Bletchley Park and raise funds for the Bletchley Park Trust.
The exquisitely detailed 'Bletchley Park Golden Egg' is inspired by Winston Churchill's famous description of the codebreakers as 'The geese that laid the golden eggs, but never cackled'.
The first edition sold out providing valuable funds for the Bletchley Park Trust and beautiful collectors' items for those lucky enough to purchase them.
In order to support the campaign of independent Trust supporter, Gareth Halfacree, to secure valuable Turing Papers for the Museum, the Trust will contribute the proceeds of the purchase of the remaining 30 Eggs to his appeal.
The price of each 'Bletchley Park Golden Egg' is £3,750 and in order to ensure the funds go to the campaign to save Turing's Papers purchases will need to be made before the auction date of 23 November.
