Simon Greenish, Director of the Bletchley Park Trust, welcomed the announcement, saying, “These people made an enormous contribution to the outcome of World War Two, the twentieth century and freedom in the West. Prior to the ceremony HRH The Duke of Kent will be meeting Bletchley Park veterans, and unveiling a painting featuring some of them, visiting The National Museum of Computing and presenting long-service awards to volunteers.
