Bletchley Park® Trust Appoints Director DesignateReleased : Mar 1, 2006 Simon Greenish, a senior member of the management team at the Royal Air Force Museum, London, is appointed Director Designate of Bletchley Park. Simon Greenish, for 10 years a senior member of the management team at the Royal Air Force Museum, London, has been appointed Director Designate by Bletchley Park Trust. From the beginning of March, Mr Greenish will take charge of day-to-day operations at the WW2 heritage site. For the remainder of 2006, he will work alongside Director Christine Large, whose tasks this year include the Trust’s new exhibitions and interpretation plan, major infrastructure works and fundraising.
At the Royal Air Force Museum, Mr Greenish raised substantial amounts of funding, managed Collections and delivered a series of major projects. He said, “I admire Bletchley Park greatly and look forward to helping build on its legendary reputation and achievements.”
