Roll of Honour

This is an alphabetical list of the men and women believed to have served in signals intelligence at Bletchley Park and its outstations; in the Y Service, Special Communications Units, Special Liaison Units and the Radio Security Service during WW2. This Roll of Honour is compiled from surviving wartime documents, publications and information provided by veterans and their friends and relatives.

The Roll of Honour is updated as new information is received, and a new on-line edition is normally published every four weeks.

The explanatory notes explain many of the terms used in the Roll of Honour and provide information about sources.

To find an individual click on a link below. The list is organised alphabetically by the surname by which the individual was known by while serving in signals intelligence so in many cases this will be a maiden name. The Frequently Asked Questions may help if you are unable to find someone on the list. Some names appear in blue, if you click on one of these it will take you to a photograph of, or memoir by, the individual.

We know that this list is incomplete, and we rely on surviving veterans, their relatives and friends, to provide the information needed to make it as accurate as possible. We have no information on anyone whose name is not listed on the Roll of Honour.

If you think you or someone you know should be included in the list please read the information about how to register a Bletchley Park Veteran.
