Re-enactorsWorld war two re-enactors, both civilian and military, are welcome at all our events. There are a range of one and two day events. Re-enactors really help make our events come alive.
The next big event in the calender is our annual 1940s event which will take place on the 30th and 31st May. We have decided to make this a two day event due to the large number of people who attended in 2009. Naturally camping is available on site for all re-enactors.
Below is a list of 2010 events• Forties Family Festival – 30th & 31st May • Armed Forces Day – 3rd & 4th July • Polish Event – 18th July •Classic Car and Motorbike Picnic – 1st August This gets bigger every year with over 200 classic cars and over 1,000 people attending last year. • Post Office International Festival – 30th August Celebrating the history of the Post Office but particularly the war years and taking a closer look at civilian life during that time. • Churchill & Enigma Reunion Weekend – 4th & 5th September We celebrate the man who took us though WW2 but also the veterans who worked at Bletchley Park and who attend every year. • The Golden Age of Cinema – 3rd October For more information on 2010 events please see our event calendar.
